Prof. Dr. Fügen Durlu Özkaya, Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Tourism, Faculty of Tourism, and Prof. Dr. Mücahit Taha Özkaya, Lecturer at Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture, participated as speakers at the meeting, which was titled "About Olive..." and included an olive oil tasting session.


Prof. Dr. Fügen Durlu Özkaya and Prof. Dr. Mücahit Taha Özkaya shared valuable information about the cultivation of olives, the production of olive oil, the place of olive oil in the field of health and in our kitchens, the components of olive oil, its identity structure, imperfect and perfect definitions and the subtleties of tasting. After the conference, olive oil tasting glasses prepared for the tasting session were distributed to the participants and the tasting activity was carried out under the instructions of our professors.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Chief Physician Coordinator of Ankara City Hospital, Uzm. Dr. Filiz Denizli Ergen presented flowers to the speakers on behalf of Ankara City Hospital Family and thanked them for sharing valuable information with the guests together with Coordinator Health Care Services Manager Garibe Adıgüzel. The event ended with taking a souvenir photo with the participants and refreshments.
