This study was designed to elucidate the pharmacological and biological effects of Sargassum muticum extract on the production of inflammatory curatives in macrophages. S. muticum was extracted with 80% EtOH. The extract was then successfully cleaved with n-hexane, , EtOAc, BuOH.
