Olive (Olea Europaea l.) Possibilities of Using Shaded Polyethylene Tunnels (Spt) For Rooting...

There are two types of olives, apical and basal (Olea europaea L.) steels were processed with different concentrations of IBA or NAA using the slow or fast immersion method and rooted under the shaded polyethylene tunnel (SPT) or under fog.

In all cases, the rooting percentage of steels rooted in SPT was higher than that rooted under mist. During the rooting process in SPT, the temperature was controlled using thick white calico, while it was replaced with wet black cloth during the hottest hours of the day. During these experiments, a controlled humidity was provided by using a closed system. While the highest rooting was obtained from basal steels during Deceleration processes of IBA, there was no significant difference between basal and apical steels.
