Research on the Genetic Identification of Olives of Mardin, Şırnak Provinces through Molecular Markers Dec.

In this study, a total of 52 olive genotypes, including 47 olive types selected from the gene sources of Mardin and Şırnak provinces and 4 domestic standard and 1 foreign variety reference, were tested by SSR analyses for the purpose of investigating DNA genetic identities.

Allele sizes for each SSR locus were determined by Beckman CEQ 8800 automatic fragment analysis system, while the number of alleles, expected and observed heterozygosity and identification probability were determined, the results obtained were evaluated at the dendogram level.
